How to reach us, answers to common questions, and how CareBridge works. You do not need an account to use this page.

CareBridge is not an emergency service. In an emergency in Ghana, call 112, the national emergency number for ambulance, police and fire, or go to the nearest hospital.

Tell us the email address on your CareBridge account and, if your question is about a booking, the booking code (it starts with CB-). That lets us find it without asking you again.

When to expect a reply. We are a small team and support is not staffed around the clock. We read every message and aim to reply within 2 business days.

Already have an account? You can also open a support ticket, which keeps your messages and our replies in one place.

How CareBridge works

CareBridge is a marketplace that connects people who need care in Ghana with independent caregivers. Caregivers are not employed by CareBridge.

For clients

  1. Create an account and add the person who needs care.
  2. Browse caregivers and choose one, or post a job and let caregivers apply.
  3. Pick a date and time and pay through Paystack. Your payment is held until the visit is completed.
  4. The caregiver accepts and carries out the visit. You can message them about the booking.
  5. Afterwards, leave a review.

For caregivers

  1. Create a caregiver account and complete your profile.
  2. Upload your government ID and any certificates so we can verify your identity.
  3. Accept booking requests, or apply to jobs that clients post.
  4. Start the job when you arrive and complete it when you finish.
  5. You are paid after the visit is completed. CareBridge keeps a 10% platform fee from your price.

Questions from clients

How do I find a caregiver?

Browse caregivers from the home screen of the app, or on the caregivers page of this site. You can filter by location, service type and rating to find the best match.

How do I book a caregiver?

Booking happens in the CareBridge app. Browse caregivers here on the website, then open the CareBridge app, choose your date and time, add any notes, and confirm. The caregiver then accepts or declines the request.

How do payments work?

You pay in the app when you book, by mobile money or card, through Paystack. The payment is held until the visit is completed and is then released to the caregiver. A small payment processing fee, which covers what Paystack charges (about 2%), is added and shown before you pay.

How do I message my caregiver?

Once you have a booking, you can message your caregiver directly through the Messages tab.

What is the cancellation policy?

You get a full refund if you cancel before the caregiver has accepted, or more than 24 hours before the start time. Between 6 and 24 hours before the start the refund is 50%, and less than 6 hours before there is no refund. The full rules are in the Cancellation Policy.

How do I delete my account?

Sign in on this site and go to your profile settings, then choose Delete Account. You can also email us. What is removed and what we must keep is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Questions from caregivers

How do I get verified?

In the app, go to Profile → Verification and upload your certificate and government ID. Our team reviews the documents and confirms your credentials with the body that issued them. You are notified of the result.

How do I manage my schedule?

Go to My Schedule from the dashboard or the profile menu. You can set your weekly availability and add time off.

When do I receive payments?

Your earnings are recorded once a booking is marked complete, and you can see them in the app at any time. Payouts are planned on a weekly schedule to your registered mobile money or bank account. Payout timing can vary while we complete setup with our payment provider.

How do I contact a client?

You can message clients directly through the Messages tab once you have a booking with them.

What if I need to cancel a booking?

You can decline a booking request before you accept it. Once you have accepted, you are committed to the visit. If a genuine emergency means you cannot attend, contact us straight away so we can help the client make other arrangements. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations can lead to your account being reviewed. See the Cancellation Policy.
